Google Flights – The Ultimate Travel Search Engine for Cheapest Airline Ticket!

Yesterday Google revealed that Google’s first airline search engine ~ Google Flights is officially online. The new tool from Google will allow you to shop for airline ticket the easiest way. And as always, it’s going to be bigger and better than all the rest of the flight search tool available in the internet. Basically the Google’s Flight search is based on technology from ITA Software Inc. of Cambridge, which Google acquired for $700 million in April.

How Google Flights Work?

1. Go to google.com/flights.

2. Start choosing the your current location and the destination you are heading to. Then filter all flight queries by departure date, return date and duration taken.

3. You will be shown a little nice chart that reveal which travel dates are more expensive and which are cheaper.

“This is only the beginning of the transformation of general search into travel search that will save the consumer steps in the travel planning process.”

So far from our survey, the net community is responding positively with the Google’s new innovation which will allow traveler to look the best deal in the airline ticket. And the best thing is you don’t need Groupon or Living Social to bring you the best deal instead you could just do it yourself at anytime of your convenience. Another plus point is that, the Google Flights is operating in a blazing fast speed, you can get the result displayed in a split of seconds.

However for others flight dominating competitor like ExpediaTravelocityKayak and Orbitz, it will be not be a good to joy about as start from this moment onward Google will now start competing with them in the $165 billion on-line travel booking business.

Thank you for the heads up on Google Flights.
I just tried it for a flight from PDX to SAT. This is really cool! The tools let me change a few dates very quickly to find the lowest fare. With a small adjustment in days it saved over a hundred dollars compared to the other sites I was searching on.

    Best regards,
    Nolan
